The Indian Superfoodie

About

Welcome tIMG_0470o The Indian Superfoodie. I’m Jigna Tailor and I’m passionate about anything food-related. A short stint working in Central London and often ending up in and around London at weekends has meant that I am spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. But not all the options have food to my taste or are value for money. Being a Indian, saving pennies is in my genes! So I am using this blog as a platform to review any restaurants I visit and review whether the visit is worth the money.

So if you are like me and like to eat out in Central London (and occasionally other areas) but don’t want to splash out for some decent nosh and ambience then you are in the right place!

A little background about me:

I follow a flexitarian diet which basically means I eat mostly veggie dishes. As well as eating out, I am hugely passionate about cooking at home. My hunger for cooking started as a kid when I helped out my mother in the Tailor kitchen and that is where I acquired most of my kitchen skills and knowledge. She brought me up to appreciate home cooking and be able to get everything I crave for right at home. Never one to follow a recipe, we used to get different results each time we stepped in the kitchen but each tastier than the last attempt and that is what cooking is about for me. Experimentation. Having the ability to cook most things without going out only raises my standards for when I do eat out!

I hope you will join me on this journey and enjoy every bite as much as I will!
